    @HealingMagic I love how you put that, Robert – “becoming emotionally intelligent is the key.” We can be educated, have a form of godliness (grew up in church – pray and read scriptures each day, etc.) and still live without ‘the victory” because of our raggedy thought lives affecting our emotions. I see it a lot and I’ve been there, done that myself. I appreciate you on so many levels. God bless!

    I guess I was asking, how do you actually change that if you have bad judgements of yourself and you have been bullied and you just can’t stop feeling lousy about yourself? Even if you try faster eft for the judgements you have and the bad experiences – if it just doesn’t change the way you feel is there some piece of the puzzle that’s missing?

    Hi Purnima, Robert’s videos are really excellent and helpful. But sometimes we need to join some groups or workshops that could help. I used to have very low self esteem, but when I did the Art of Living course and Sidha Samadhi Yoga courses, it really helped me to overcome a lot of grief that I had inside of me. So if you are in India do these courses. I was a changed person when I first did the AOL part 1 course.

    YOu need to remember your feeling are what you are creating within, it’s attitude you have about yourself as well as your judgments against yourself. It usually is based on what you had experienced and how you were treated or just your own crappy attitude you have against yourself. So, once you change that & just love who you are right where you are. You are a wonderful person & perfect even when you are being mean to yourself but being nice feels better. You are the creator of YOURSELF.

    I rem some of the memories where all my friends had good food in their tiffins n I was just having something not so good as my mom was not there so now as i can cook good i feel i should eat what i have missed…. this is something i felt when i watched one of d videos just now…. pls recommend which video will help me n sometimes i feel i dont love myself for being so fat body.

    The whole purpose it to start feeling comfortable about your body. Learning to love yourself is the key. You body only follows your mind and what you eat. The body is innocent and will bigger or smaller depending on what you feed it. Making peace with your mother, food and dieting. Becoming emotionally intelligent is the key.

    Great video. Got stuck tho on part of going to place of feeling loved. Couldn’t do it, couldn’t find a time of feeling authentically loved. Huge life problem which is why I eat too much and am fat. Can I be helped? When I try tapping, I end up feeling numb-feel nothing. What’s wrong with me? Have a wonderful family that I love and adore, but no fault of theirs, I don’t feel capable of being loved- feel unlovable. Is there hope for me?

    Thanks for the comments…I'm getting tired of looking, clearly. Were you suggesting that it is OK to still be looking? I'm pretty sure I'll give up at 30 and cut my losses. (Sometimes I think I knew more about myself at 20 than I do now, which is discouraging) I once thought (obviously incorrectly) that as I got older life would get easier, that maybe the “me” that I found would be a static being. But, in light of my inability to control every aspect of my environment (despite my best efforts), I keep changing either out of necessity or by choice.

    As an aside, while running may be an effective and healthy weight loss technique, I think the fastest way to lose weight may be a cocktail of cigarettes and dexatrim, though it may not be advisable. I'm not sure that would get you as many hits on ask jeeves though.

    Also, he didn’t say once that he would make decisions based off of life experiences or how he feels. He said he can’t help but think about that stuff. He did say that “it’s not my job to change the law or bend the law to achieve any result.” Thus, he thinks about it, but he tries not to let that affect his decision.
