@Coppulor Hey! You were completly right on the butter trick!

yes, I use butter too. but butter goes bad a billion times faster so coconut oil is so much easier.

and butter is NOT good for you spread on pancakes and toast because you’re combing fat with sugar. by far the worst food combination. and yet, when I do have pancakes, I LOVE slathering on the butter! lol here’s a good trick I learned. do NOT put butter on when the pancakes are piping hot. melted butter has a much milder taste – put it on them when they are warm instead

Im gonna need proof that he’s 62 years old – probably your comment was spammed, its hard to believe thjough I would like to believe it because I eat the way he recomends already :)

I never thought it made sense that we eat foods that we never evolved on, I try to aim at a high sat fat diet like our paleo ancesters, and I dont worry about avoiding milk, butter and cheese.

I found the Weston A Price Foundation website and everything fitted! :)

    Search for ‘fathead documentory’

Butter contains medium chain triglycerides also (look it up) no need to chase after coconut oil, spread a healthy amount on your pancakes and toast! :)

    Two questions come to mind:

    1) How would a person know what foods have estrogen? I dont think it is listed on the packaging, or is it?
    2) Could this be some kind of evil master plan to emasculate men?

This man knows what he’s talking about, he has gray hair and is probably 60, but looks 40.

Thanks, avocado oil sounds like a good idea too. :)

depends on what kind you get and how much you use. you dont use much so the answer is not really. if you use a lot and with something bland like eggs than yes. but even then, only if you use a lot. there are two kinds, centrifuge extracted and naturally “squeezed out” – referred to as cold pressed. the centrifuge extracted has next to no flavor. you can also use avacado oil. all these oils have high smoke points and can withstand high heat without becoming rancid

Does coconut oil make your food taste different though? I would think it would have a sweet, coconut taste to it and that’s not really what I want to fry veggies and stuff in.

I haven’t bought this guy’s book but I have started eating a delicious pasta meal in the evening garlic, onions olive oil salmon etc and the weird thing is after 3 days I have stopped being hungry during the day I never realised how much sugar I was eating in the form of a mid day sandwich which after a hour or two made me starving as the sugar sent me “low”. I have also noticed that I no longer crave junk food or wine which I was drinking a bottle a night pretty much again sugar cravings.

well you think cooking with olive oil is fine. but unless you own a lab and regularly test your cooked oil you cant know. Heating damages it to the point of being worthless or even harmful. uncooked, cold processed, extra virgin olive oil is bursting with antioxidants. u can taste it – it kinda has a slight bite to it. anyway, the sat fats in coc oil are medium chain triglycerides & r metabolized differently by ur body. coco oil also stimulates your thyroid/metabolism

Thank you. I’ve actually been cooking with olive oil and it has been fine. I think it may depend on the quality of the olive oil that you get. I know not to cook with flax seed oil. I’d rather not use butter. I’ll look into coconut and palm oil though. I know coconut oil is supposed to be good for you, but doesn’t it have a lot of saturated fat? That is a little confusing to me.

do NOT cook with flax seed oil or olive oil!!! they are both very sensitive to heat (especially flax) and will be destroyed instantly when heated. they become rancid as soon as they are heated. cook with butter or coconut or palm oil. i use some butter but mostly coconut.

A lot of people say he looks old. Not sure how old he actually is, but I think it due to his grey hair/facial hair. I bet if he shaved and diet his hair brown he would look like he was in his late 30′s
