Now, you say not to do cardio when you do weight training… Ok so if I work out 5 days a week, when do I do cardio? I usually do a week of weight training only and one week of weight and cardio combo. What you think?
whats the best supplement to take to gain weight ?
Do you only weigh 200 pounds? I weigh 200 pounds and I’m not even close to be as muscular as you are, and I’m not fat. You must be very small in height?

oh man ur so right
you sound and kinda look like mark wahlberg
Great video 5*
I wasn’t able to read through all the comments, but I will share my input insha’Allah. First of all, may Allah bless you for seeking knowledge and trying to understand the deen, may He grant you ease and tranquility in your heart and may He bestow upon you a sound understanding of Islam. Ameen
Let me start with telling you why the sunnah of the Rasool (saws) is so heavily emphasized: 1) Because Allah swt says so, in the very Qur’an! Check out this in Surah Nisa’. Part of obeying Allah swt is following the example of the Prophet (saws). The Qur’an is perfect and it is divine, yes, but Allah does not give us every single detail of how to live our lives in the Qur’an. As human beings, we need teachers and role models in our lives in order to understand how to conduct ourselves. It is just a part of human nature to need someone to look up to; reflect on the relationship of a child and parent. In [Surah we ask Allah what translates to, "It is You we worship and You we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path - The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.” We ask Allah to guide us to the straight path. But how can we identify what the straight path is? How do I know that I’m on the straight path? The marker that Allah swt uses is that of people, those upon whom He has bestowed His favor. Again, this alone shows our need to have role models, human teachers, someone to look up to. For example, say you were learning how to perform a liver transplant surgery. You can read a text book that lays down all the guidelines, rules, principles needed in order to perform a transplant surgery, but what is the likelihood you would be successful if you just performed it without observing someone first? Similarly, ever wonder why there is such an emphasis on training when you’re pursuing a new career? In medicine, you have observorships, residencies. In law, you have mock trials. Simply reading the principles is not enough. You need experts to help you put those principles into action. Now if your goal is to worship Allah, to gain nearness to Him, who better to follow and learn from than His beloved? If that doesn’t convince you of the importance of sunnah and ahadith, ponder these few things: -Our testimony of faith, i.e. what you have to testify to in order to even be considered a Muslim, includes testifying that the Prophet (saws) is the servant and final messenger of Allah swt. Again… serious importance given to the Prophet (saws) by Allah Himself. -We would not have this Qur’an without the Prophet (saws). Allah singled out the Prophet Muhammad (saws) and revealed His words to Him, made him the means by which we received the message for _all_ mankind, after which there would be no further revelation. That itself, i.e. the fact that he was bestowed the honor of bringing Allah’s word to us, shows how great the status of the Prophet (saws) is, how beloved He is to Allah. -We wouldn’t know the proper way to recite the Qur’an without the Prophet (saws). I bet you have heard many people reciting the Qur’an and have learned what a great emphasis there is on learning the proper way to recite the Qur’an. That was revealed to the Prophet (saws). Had we not followed him, we wouldn’t know how to recite the Qur’an. -The rest of our 5 pillars: salah, sawm, hajj, zakah… again, we would not know how to implement these all properly were it not for the sunnah of the Prophet (saws). Suffice it to say that without the sunnah (which includes ahadith, i.e. sayings) of the Prophet (saws), we would be lost. We would have no clue how to practice our deen. 2) In regards to salah, I cannot say I know why were asked to perform it in a particular way because only Allah knows that. All I can say is that the Prophet (saws) performed it this way, and thus we do too because as we believe that the Prophet (saws) was divinely guided by Allah, we follow his example. At the same time, I learned many wisdoms that may provide some insight as to why we perform salah the way we do, and they are actually very beautiful. I can share them with you via message or email, if you like (this post is getting long enough lol). Many have also said that the fact that we all perform salah in the same way is a means of showing and promoting unity within the Muslim community. To account for the differences in the placement of the hands, etc. – the results come because different people follow different schools of thought. I don’t know much at all about the Shi`a sect, but within the Sunni school, we have 4 different preseved schools of thought. The reasons for differences is rooted in `usool al fiqh and fiqh, i.e. the methodologies of obtaining rulings and the actual rulings themselves. I cannot tell you how our noble scholars came to their conclusions, may Allah have mercy on them all, because I am no scholar and do not have a deep understanding of this yet (make du`a Allah makes it easy for me). They are, however, all acceptable. Whether you are Maliki and leave your hands dangling on the sides or whether you are Shafi`i and raise both your hands before ruku’ and sujood, each is valid and sound. Don’t stress yourself out too much on the small differences, ya akhi, they don’t make much of a difference
We all still say the Fatihah, the same glorifications in ruku’ and sujood, and the same tashahhud at the end of the day, so alhamdulilLah
3) Finally, regarding why Allah created disbelievers – my initial response would be Allahu `alam. God knows best. Our minds will never be able to understand Allah’s wisdom, planning, etc. I do want to point out a couple things though. I totally understand where you are coming from. This is a question I myself have wondered about, but then I found these two ayahs & learned what I will share below, insha’Allah. – He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned. – O you who have believed, do not ask about things which, if they are shown to you, will distress you. On the first ayah, it just reminds me that… you know, subhan’Allah, we spend so much time worrying about random things we don’t have the answer to, yet really, shouldn’t we be worrying about our akhirah and securing that? This is beautifully exemplified in the a hadith where a man walks up to the Prophet (saws) and asks him, “When is the hour?” and the Prophet (saws) responds, “What have you prepared for it?” Such a beautiful response. I mean, we know from the Qur’an that only Allah knows when the hour is, but it is a beautiful reminder to focus on what we know and on acquiring knowledge which can lead to action. On the second ayah, this was a huge reminder to my ridiculously inquisitive mind that some things are better left unknown or rather, were not revealed to us by Allah for a reason
The other thing I wanted to share with you in regards to this was the concept of justice in Islam. Thulm (injustice) is using or doing with that which is not yours without the consent of the true owner. So for ex, if you owned a car, and I took your car and drove it around without your permission, that is thulm. `Adl (justice) is the opposite of thulm. So for ex, if I owned a car, and I decided I wanted to smash in all the windows, this would still be just because I am the true owner of the car, hence I can do with it what I like (although it would be stupid to do such a thing, yes). Everything in the Heavens and the earth belongs to Allah, including us human beings. Hence, whatever Allah swt does is just because it’s all His creation and He can do with it what He wants. “Inna _lillahi_ wa inna ilayhi raji`oon” – Verily we _belong_ to Allah, and indeed to Him is our return.” Subhan’Allah. My shaykh once made a beautiful point about this concept & ayah 21:23, saying that in order for us to question, we must have some authority. But none of us have authority against Allah. On the Day of Judgement, none of us will be able to even speak until Allah gives us permission. Subhan’Allah. My beloved brother, if I can offer you a bit of advice, I would advise you to stay away from the r/exmuslim phase while you are in such a state and to instead spend time with your Muslim friends, maybe check out some other masajid, or spend time with us here on r/islam
The reason I would tell you to stay away from the r/exmuslim page is because, someone who has left Islam will not care as much for you to maintain your Islam as a Muslim will. Usually when they post ahadith, they will have an agenda. They are trying to debase our Prophet (saws), they are trying to incite doubts in the heart of others. They believe that Islam is not the way, hence they would like others to believe the same. We know this deen is haqq. We know that our questions have answers to them. An ignorant fool posting a hadith out of context, without any knowledge or scholarship, does not change the reality of the character of our Prophet (saws). He was the best of creation, peace and blessings be upon him. So if you ever come across a hadith which makes you confused, ask someone of knowledge! Subhan’Allah, we know so little… I would also advise to delve into `aqidah – i.e. the fundamentals of faith. `Aqidah basically delves deeply into our six articles of faith – belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and His divine decree. Belief in these 6 things is what constitutes what we call “iman.” I’ve recently been delving into these a lot myself, and I’m telling you… it brings peace to your heart, your questions. It grants you deeper certainty. I also have notes which I can share with you, insha’Allah, though I highly recommend studying with a teacher! I am sorry for the length, but I hope this can help in some way, insha’Allah! Take care bro
