How can I lose a LOT of weight in a SHORT amount of time?
I know that in order to lose weight you need to change your lifestyle, adding excercise and trading bad food for good. But, I have a special event coming up in two and a half months and I’d like to try and lose as much weight as possible. Any good ideas, tricks, diets or suggestions?

I’ve just put this same answer on another question! The only thing I know of is the cabbage soup diet where you have cabbage soup for a week(you can add whatever other veg you like) and you follow a plan adding more fruit and veg each day then you can have a baked potato on about day 5 and the last day you have to eat red meat as well. You can only do this for a week at a time but you can apparently lose up to 10lb in 7 days.
I lost 30 pounds in 2 weeks by water fasting- that means NO FOOD! After the first 2 days the hunger pangs go away and you just feel a bit tired. You MUST drink 10 or more glasses of water a day. I kept the weight off for quite a long time. Now that I’m older though (49), this method doesn’t seem to work as well. I went 10 days the last time and only lost 12 pounds. Good Luck!
Depending on how much you weigh and your heart condition, you could start running or dieting, or both. I would opt for the exercise. jog 1 hour per day for 5 days a week. after a month and a half, you could incease to an hour and a half. Will re-arrange inches too.

Try and avoid, sodium, sugar, caffeine, and limit your carbohydrates. Drink plenty of water and eat plenty of lean meats & vegetables. Let me tell you what worked for me. My Dr. recommened to me this diet called Medifast. It is Soy Protein. It teaches you to eat 5-6 small meals a day every 2-3 hours to speed up your metabolism. I lost a lot of weight for a musical that I was in. I lost a ton of weight in 6 weeks, and I was healthy about it. I worked out 2 hours a day, including weights and cardio both. I only ate 1200 calories a day, and I lost weight quick!
hi, yes the online/digital jury process is really good, i recommend it, however the amount of time for each step takes some patience. in fact each step has taken 5-10x the amount of time i assumed was needed in the out set of this competition… so let it be known for future projects, online jury reviews/discussions work well but don't expect quick results. on the brighter side of online jury i found that time for travel was eliminated, discussions were easily archived and the blend of individual+group review time allowed for really informed discussions.
How can I lose weight while keeping my normal schedule?
I am trying to lose Weight but I don't have time to exercise very much. I do my schooling online, I am living with my sister therefore I have to help keep things clean, and I am working a part time job to save for college. I just need some pointers or something that could help me lose weight while keeping my schedule every day.
Ah man, I’m going to miss this show. It started out as a “I’ll watch the first episode and then cut it out of my already crowded schedule” but it was so good, as something my father and I could both enjoy, that I kept it. It did seem like they were phoning it in for the last few episodes though; perhaps they could sense they were going to get canceled. Still, a fun series, shouldn’t have been canceled (and let’s hope they don’t put some “who can lose weight the fastest!” reality show in its place).
