How can I lose weight and lower my stress?
I had a baby a year ago and I still can’t lose the weight. I’m only 21 so I want to lose the weight before my 22 b-day in july. I gained about 65 pounds. I am also extreamly stress out.

Boxing is a great remedy for you. The constant movement makes weight loss a snap, you get in terrific shape and imagine how much stress youtake care of by beating the crap out of the bag! Good Luck!
Do you work out at your YMCA (dk if u have 1)? If you don’t, its really cheap and easy to join. Keep a well-balanced diet. (I wouldn’t include to much carbs or processed sugars) and take some vitamins to lower your stress. B vitamins to be exact.
Meditation can relieve stress tension and is know to be beneficial to your health: A good meditation technique to start with is the Basic Meditation Technique. You can sit on the floor or in a chair. If you can easily sit in a cross-legged position without straining, do so. Or you can sit against a wall for support with the legs either crossed or stretched out in front of you.
You will only be successful if you start relaxed. If you choose to sit on the floor for your meditation, you may want to begin by lying on the floor and doing the Basic Relaxation Technique first. When you are relaxed completely, gently sit up and continue with the following technique.
Hold your TAO Totem in your hand, gently stroking the surface curve as you begin to associate the resulting feelings of your meditation with the TAO Totem. As you continue to practice the Basic Meditation Technique, you will begin to see your life open up to new opportunities and ideas as you reach deeper and deeper into your awareness of self.

A balance diet can jump start you in the right direction: Like salads, yogurt, fruit and plenty of water. Exercise can speed up your metabolism and help you burn stored fat. If you are serious about losing weight then set it in your mind and you will lose it. Get with a friend that needs to lose and this can be a GREAT MOTIVATION for you

Do this today…pop in your favorite dance music then dance. Do this for 30 minutes every day. After two weeks, increase your dancing to 45 minutes. In two more weeks, increase to 60 minutes. By then, you should really be shedding the pounds. What this does is it increases your metabolism, helping you burn more calories, even during your resting periods. The more activity you do, the more you boost your metabolism, burning more calories. Eat the right portions of food during the day. Drink water throughout the day, along with fruit juices. Stop drinking soda…it’s not good for your teeth and even diet sodas often have too much sodium, which makes your body retain water. I find, that when I’m dancing, I’m not stressing. I’m enjoying my favorite tunes and having fun. What better way to get a good workout? If you’re not shy, invite some friends over and have a dance workout together. Or pop your tape into your walkman and take it to the streets, walking to the beat of your tunes. Losing 2 pounds a week is a good goal. You might lose a large amount, the first couple of weeks, then it might only be a little bit. Don’t get discouraged. As long as you’re keeping up your activity, the weight will come off. Continuing to increase your activity is the best way for the body to not slow down, seeing your weight not move at all. Those are called plateaus, and often happen halfway through your weight loss program. Just keep up the activity, maybe even doing a morning and evening session. It’s good that you want to lose it while you’re young. Waiting until you’re 40 will make it almost impossible to get back what you once had. Your skin loses it’s elasticity when you get older. So, when you lose weight after 40, it has the tendancy to not shrink back to it’s original state. Also, you can take this time to pop the little one in their stroller and take them on your walks too. I’m sure that you’ll find your stress level going down dramatically. < *)))><
