How many calories can I eat to lose weight?
I am 17, 5’10″. I am about 195. I want to get around 165. How many calories should I consume each day so that I can get to this goal. Also does it change if I do some weight training and cardio 5-6 days a week. Also some foods that I should eat would be helpful. I want to lose these pounds as fast as possible, and fasting is out of the question.

for a completely sedentary person your height weight you are looking at around 1300 to 1500 calorie a day diet to lose weight. If you start working out you will need more than that, around 1700 to 1900 per day. Eat a well balanced diet, generally high protein foods and vegetables, stay away from carbs and sugars and be persistent. It will come off in the end.
Usually, a typical person eats between 1500-2000 calories a day. In fact, depending on your body type, that’s all you need. A pound of fat is usually equivalent to 3500 extra calories that you took in over a week. So, in order to lose pounds, you have to think in calories. Eat lots of fiber, fruits and vegetables. Portion out you meals. A good method is to look at your plate. Your meat should only take up 1/4 of your plate. Your starch/grains should take up the other 1/4 and the oth1/2 should be vegetables.
Watch what you snack on! Snacking on water filled foods like apples, carrots, celery and other veggies is so much better than that bag of doritos!

I am not sure but I believe your a male – if you want to lose at no exercise you need to cut back to 1,985 calories a day.
increase your exercise just a little and you can go to 2,555. Check out the calorie needs, calories burned and the fitness finder calculator. I have used it and it works if you stick with it.
Well, rationing your calories isn’t really all there is to it, what you gotta do is make sure you are eating the right ones and not eating the wrong ones.

This is a stupid idiotic “study” that proves nothing. If I go to Taco Time and order a burrito, yes I am going to order it regardless of how many calories it contains, but it doesn't take into account that I factor how many calories were in that burrito when I eat for the rest of the day. So providing nutritional information IS still important for calorie counters…it helps them figure out what they are eating for the whole of the day.
I usually do my weight training routine and then i do my cardio. But as soon as I begin, boom, calf cramp
