He still creates AMAZING educational episodes and I personally have learned a lot from them. Therefore none of you can say Bear is a fake

  24. coperone2 says:

First things first. Man vs. Wild is a show that teaches you how to survive out in the wild. It teaches you all the necessities you need to know to make it out alive. IT TEACHES. Survivorman shows you first hand how to survive without any help. If you want to see a show where the guy actually goes through everything then watch Survivorman. Man Vs. Wild is educational entertainment! If Bear sleeps in a hotel, WHO CARES! It’s not part of his job to stay out in the wilderness.

  25. coperone2 says:

According to the Minister of Finance the Pickering project should start in June this year. Great timing! Rainy/Hurricane season also starts in June. Digging foundations in rainy season ?

  28. Vicki says:

Hurricane season “officially” runs from June 1 to November 30, but that's just a calendar and hurricanes can't read calendars. The 2005 hurricane season was so busy that every name on the list was used that year, and they had to use the Greek alphabet. The final storm that year was Zeta, who appeared on December 30 and finally “died” on January 6, 2006. Zeta was the 27th named storm of 2005 (Katrina also occurred during 2005).

As long as we have our house near the East Coast and our apartment on the West Coast, I guess we sort of have a choice of where to be if we need to evacuate. Or perhaps we'll just head north to Kentucky and visit family! ;)

Besides having a fun style, likable stars, and a crazy coach in Don Nelson, another thing that I always respected about the Mavericks then and now was their international flavor. Eduardo Najera (Mexico), Nash (Canada), Dirk (Germany), Popeye Jones (Mars) transitioned to Peja (Serbia), Barea (Dominican Republic), Beaubois (Guadalupe), and Mahinmi (France).
