@lovelyamor30 Oh yes I had extra skin! They say that whatever is left after a year of working out, will probably stay there for good. I still have loose skin from being preggers, but I’ve learned to wear the right kind of clothes…not too tight of hemlines, the right fit can make all the difference. P90X will greatly improve your core, and burn off alot of fat and tighten up your core, and maybe some of that extra skin..it did for me! Go the full 90, see what happens! xoxo

i can really relate to you. i look like (now) what you looked like before you started. I have extra skin from my pregnancy though. Did you? Mine isn’t that bad, but I wonder if its even worth it. I did P90X for 30 days and I looked really good. I can imagine if I had gone the full 90, although I still don’t know if it would have helped my stomach much.

@pautersonx Hi! Yes I would love to be your coach. Do you already have one though? If you do-just send customer service at Beachbody an email and give them my coach ID-21668-and tell them your request. If you purchased from the website you might already have 1 assigned. but you can still switch. I am on FB too! Just search Demi Bean-I also have a fan page-lots of ways 2 interact! Look forward to connecting with u!

Hi, I’m looking for a coach and your video is one of the most motivating I’ve seen. I’d love to connect and see if you could coach me to get to the point you have. :-) I’m going into my week 3 and down 0.4lbs – not alot but in the right direction. I may be overlooking it on this website but what’s the best way to reach out to you? I have a facebook page – can I find you there?

@njj102 Thank you! I think if you go really heavy on leg day you should be fine. the leg workouts and especially plyo build your legs nicely!

  17. isabelbean says:

@SansonaBatalla well…hmm..yes! LOL sorry, it’s the nature of the beast! I used to be alot larger, but now I am smaller..BUT I am also fit, and have a great rear end. :)

  18. isabelbean says:

@TheCitlalli82 Hmmm for you since you do martial arts and want to get into plyometrics-TurboFire or Insanity would be a great choice for you. Insanity is more sports specific drills while TurboFire has alot of plyo and martial arts-but set to music. I’m doing that program now and it’s kicking my butt! But I love it! Just depends on which better suits you.

  19. isabelbean says:

  21. isabelbean says:

@truthwelltold99 you are actually right! and you can do it either way,in whatever order you’d like to..will be just as effective. :)

  22. truthwelltold99 says:

Is Insanity targeted to losing fat and P90X targeted to building muscle? Or is it the other way round? Thanks very much for letting me know.

  23. mschizoba says:

very nice. i’ll be starting my own soon. thanks for the post, it’s encouraging!

  24. amarins76 says:

    Wow!!! Amazing!!!
I have a question for you. I have been a martial arts practitioner and I’m in a great condition, not ripped but can do many pushups and pullups, run, kick, punch, etc… But, I moved 2 weeks ago and had to quit martial arts…
I want to get a video workout based on plyometrics SOOON before I loose my condition and most importantly muscle tone… I’m looking into three TurboFire, P90X, and Insanity…Which one would your recommend for me?

Google could only pull it off if they were to generate detailed statistics about the visitors to a website for analysis. Just imagine if they had the most widely used website statistics service that was used by around 40% of the 10,000 most popular websites. This kind of “Google Analytics” would give them a shot to pull it off against Bit.ly, wouldn't it?

Dude – saw your site while wasting some time at work.

Check out crossfit.com – you'll be glad you did. It's a great foundation for building total fitness..

Also, about pull-ups, back when I used to play college baseball, I was in shape but during a lifting session, I couldn't complete three sets of 7 pull-ups. I can honestly say that now, in the middle of working out, I could easily mix in sets of 10 pullups, probably, 8 -10 sets worth, and I'm looking to get even better.

Check out “Kipping Pull-ups” to learn a cool way to train for them, and also, try this:

    Do this set:

5 pull ups, full up and down.
5 half pull ups, going from halfway extended to chin over bar
then 5 pull half pull ups, going from extended to halfway up
then finish with 5 full pull ups.

Do this pretty much daily, see how many sets you can do. I can only manage 3 as my high so far. But during that time, my max pull ups in a row have gone from like 10 to 20.

Adam, your honesty is breathtaking. I'm working out on my own Mission and check your blog every day for encouragement. Keep it up my friend, you are giving me energy from across the world. A resource popped into my head after reading your statement “I want to maintain a lean physique for as long as I can and achieve balance in my life.”I believe you'll find some inspiration for your plan by checking out Clarence Bass. He wrote “Ripped” and “Lean for Life” and at 69 is still totally ripped. His mission: “To inspire and help motivated people achieve lifelong leanness, health and total fitness.”The sheer volume of free information, tips, reviews, and success stories is more than most people will ever get through. I would recommend you check out his pictures. The site is pretty simple, just scroll down to see the massive list of articles. I don't have any of his books but I really enjoy his common sense and experimentation approach. true gratitude,Jeff McRTPfan
