Should I run the day before a fitness test?

I have an intense fitness test tomorrow morning involving sprinting and running. I rested yesterday and was planning on resting today too. I feel really good today, but I’m scared that I will feel sluggish tomorrow morning? I know I should probably keep on resting, but should I get out and run a little today?

You feel really good today because you rested. If you really feel you have to run, jog (SLOWLY)a mile and do a few (4) 50-75 meter sprints at 75-80% of all out. Good luck!

I’m no expert but i would just relax and maybe do some stretching and light exercise just to get you a little more ready for tomorrow.

go for a SHORT jog. like 1/2 mile or less. and jog slowly. stretch a lot. go for a walk, maybe, too.

go on an easy half mile jog today and do like 3-4 short 30-40 meter strides. also do some stretching, but not too much. just relax.

Sure you can go running a day before your fitness test.

just do Stretching = increased oxygenated nourishing blood flow to the extremities

The key is to increase blood flow to the problem area; fresh nourished blood has vital oxygen
and energy that aides to eliminate the pain and heal the body

The only way to get reinforcements inside our highly complex human body is through the
Circulatory systems that provide vital source needed for all life — which is oxygen and the
    carrier being blood.

Unfortunately the blood through your arteries is not like free flowing water through a plumbing
System — the blood needs to be pushed into the remote areas and the impure blood needs to be
Pumped back against gravity to the heart for oxygenation. Due to lack of activity or stress or sedentary / busy life style
Stretching is not occurring and there is a blood traffic jam in the pipes (thereby increasing free radicals in the impure blood #1 aging accelerator ) and blood circulation weakens which causes several chronic ailments like

Back pain , stress, fatigue , depression , lethargy , aging , early wrinkles , low immunity etc…

The only way to fix this is by stretching and widening the circulatory pipes this can be done by using a new smash hit stretching tool that is so simple and yet phenomenally effective .

If you had 4-6 hours a day to work out, what would be a good routine? This is obviously unrealistic for most people, but I’ll be in a situation until this summer that is socially and geographically isolated enough that it’s possible. I spent last summer hiking about 15-20 miles a day (with a pack) and I miss the feeling of intense fitness. I also have fond memories of twice-a-day workouts from when i played sports (tennis and rugby). My alternative to activity has been sedentary tv-watching and web surfing, causing rapid weight gain. I do have a job now so I have to stay in one place and not exhaust myself completely, but it’s part time and very low stress. What I want to focus on is weight loss, but also strength, flexibility, balance, and rhthym. For the past month I’ve been being active 2-3 hours throughout each day. I want to ramp it up a bit as my work hours decrease. What I’m thinking is: Power yoga, an hour 6x/week Kickboxing or similar, an hour 5x/week Weight training, 3 day…

WHAT!? Your post is a little too self absorbed. While I’m sure the world is on pins and needles, waiting to hear what you think about “Two and a Half Men”, I for one don’t give a “sh1p”. Oh here’s a good one, “Go ahead and watch what ever you want, I give you permission”. And to all you “Neo-cons”, I demand you watch MSNBC. And to all you “Screaming Liberals”, I demand you watch Fox News. Take notes, there will be a test tomorrow.
