The Truth about Splenda/Sucralose!
www.undergroundwellness.com Sean Croxton of Underground Wellness discusses sucralose toxicity. Splenda is a chemical compound being sold to YOU as a “natural” sweetener. It’s chemical composition is similar to DDT, mustard gas, and other harmful pesticides Explore alternatives such as yacon syrup, lo gan kuo, xylitol, and stevia. For more info, read the book Sweet Deception by Dr. Mercola. One correction. When talking about honey, I meant to say “unheated” not “uncooked”. Buy the unheated, unfiltered honeys. Cool channel BTW.
This stuff is posion. Its as bad as aspartame (for me anyways).
I started drinking water only and have felt like im on a high ever since.
Stick to mineral water imo.
@dischordia23: You’re right. You’re right. You’ve got no one left to argue with. You won the debate! Game over… Congrats and farewell. This’ll be my last direct reply to you.
You are clearly the winner. (= All the best and congrats, again.
@VolemosJuntos “From Nature”? You mean like a single plant that leads to the deaths of more than 5 million people every single year. Like the deaths from having FOUR Sept 11th attacks–EVERY SINGLE DAY. Yeah ‘Natural’='Safe’. Right. How many deaths does all-natural Sucrose contribute too? And synthetic antibiotics that save millions are actually poison, right? Organic chemistry is done by people & plants, etc. Safety is not a function of how ‘natural’ you imagine something to be.
@dischordia23: LOL. You know what? You are positively, absolutely, unequivocally, undeniably *RIGHT*! There ya go. Feel better?
Go knock yourself out and have a blast doing it. In fact, I’m gonna ENCOURAGE you to go for it. Consume, consume, consume all the Sucralose you can possibly indulge in. Cuz, after all, it’s not bad for ya. It’s got Chlorine in it, so…uh, it’s kinda like eatin’ somethin’ that’s ..uh..from nature! (= Yeah! THAT’s it! It’s from sugar, so it’s gotta be OK. (=
The presenter here calls sucralose a TOXIN, then goes on to say he has no ideas if it is safe. 6:07
@VolemosJuntos “you’re talking a whole DIFFERENT man-made lethal chemical.” Lethal chemical, Really? Please list all these people who have been killed by consuming sucralose. Since millions have been using it for years, and it is ‘lethal’ we should have bodies everywhere, dropping life-expectancy in countries consuming it, etc. None of this is the case.
@VolemosJuntos “Chlorine” in both cases is chemically bound in compounds–As Chlorine is a gas by itself. These compounds each have unique chemical properties. Sodium Chloride (NaCl) is both essential for human life and dangerous–you can’t consume much without lots of water or you will die (why drinking salt-water is actually detrimental when stranded without fresh water.) Sucralose has shown no significant toxicity in people with tens of millions of people using it regularly for decades.
@dischordia23: Right. One “element” by that NAME. But elements on the periodic table, of which our universe, as you put it, is full of, exist in different forms. I believe UndergroundWellness states this on his video. The “Chloride” state (the form we can use it, like Na+CL- salt), is NOT the same as the Chlorine that is used to replace the Hydroxide molecules in Sugar (OH-). Once bound to Carbon (C), you’re talking a whole DIFFERENT man-made lethal chemical. The stuff pesticides r made of.
@VolemosJuntos “Chlorine in Splenda is NOT the Chlorine in table salt” There is still just ONE element called ‘Chlorine’ in the universe right?

To Caretika: OMG! At first, I thought your post was a joke. “English COARSE?” –Sweet Pea, you are STILL a joke. It’s “COURSE” not “coarse.” At least this guy is CLEARLY intelligent and well-informed, while YOU, Caretika, are CLEARLY not. And ddfrddfr tried to do you a favor by explaining, in the most basic terms possible, that the Chlorine in Splenda is NOT the Chlorine in table salt and other natural substances. *DOH!* Wasted lesson! Gurl, go git yu some education! A’ight?! (=
Thank you this is my first day of quitting a 10 year addiction to Pepsi max and the crazy side effects I have had along with it.
@kareamp “Splenda is not safe it has been tested on lab rats and actually gave the rats cancer.” Fake. Please cite this study. Somehow I think if would have made the news.
@ddfrddfr I’ll take a Chemistry coarse, when you take a highschool English coarse. I gave you examples, what have you given me. What, am I supposed to take your word for it? The POINT I was making is that table salt has more CHLORINE MOLECULES BY WEIGHT than sucralose. I wish I could post files here so I can literally draw you a picture of hat I mean :-/
WOW! Great videos!!
@Caretika You are COMPLETELY wrong. Chemical names is does not follow grammar rules. You can draw the structure of a chemical by reading its name. In other words, the name of the chemical is DIRECTLY realated to the Chemical’s structure. “ide” vs. “ine” is the differnce of one atom – a major differance in affect. Take a few chemistry coarses.
Do you want to talk about Acesulfame potassium (sweetner) in protein powder…
this dude is cool
aww.. but splenda is free… just go to ur local starbucks coffee store… lol
Splenda is not safe it has been tested on lab rats and actually gave the rats cancer.
