That last one seemed pointless. The only thing It did was hurt my neck. This whole thing was easy to. Only broke a sweet towards the end. :/ I need something more intense.

    Hello Ms. Lucky,

I am 15 years old and I want to work out more. So this has really helped. I haven’t been getting enough of a challenge and I think I may have met my match. You are in my favorites now so thank you.

Also, I may need reminding to breathe during the work out. Call me crazy but I need that.

    God Bless

I reckon this routine will do you for an initial phase and could be done alternating days for about ten days.

Write yourself out a rota and aim to do abs alternate days but build up either the amount you do or the amount you lift. The amounts your aiming at are quite high, in my own routines at home, which are not for weight lifting, I do 100 ab curls, 100 obliques, 100 reverse curls and so on a so forth.

    Go well, hope this helps.

    Hi Lucy,

Fantastic but I must admit for me very cruel routine.

I’m a Bodybuilder just back on a bulking routine and the old belly is starting to stretch out a little with the extra intake of food.

Seeing as my abs are not strong enough yet what would you recommend as frequency for this routine. Every day, every other day?
    Please say once a year.
    Cheers
    Sal

Hi and so sorry for late reply. It sounds like you are super fit already so well done you!!!

I would think 3-4 a week is fine, but hey, why dont you go to the site and try some of the other abs routines which are even harder than mine?

I recommend you lose your dads old incline thingy as it does not encourage neck strength to develop.

Part of my daily ritual is 100 abs curls, 60 obliques (30 left and 30 right) and 50 reverse curls.

Let me know how you get on

    Lucy

im gonna go into more detail so i can have more specific answer. Im already pretty fit. I Play soccer for my Highschool and i run 2 miles everyday. I time myself and stride to keep my time under 14 minutes. I workout at the gym every other day and i do 100 sit ups on the this old ab thing that my dad used when he was younger. it keeps you at like 65 degree angle.

with me doing this can i do it more then just 3 times a week?

    thanks

Thanks for writing in and I hope your weight loss plan is working. The sessions we have on the site offer classes designed specifically for those wishing to slim down and tone up a bit. These classes are in our GENERAL classes and are aimed at home users after moderate results and you can choose from Beg,Int or Adv. None of the classes in this section will bulk you up into a sheet of muscle, so please rest assured. Remember lean muscle assists you burning unwanted body fat.

Thank you for your question, It depends how fit you are to begin with and what else you are doing and whether you get bored of it or not?

I would suggest you mix it up a bit and come along to the site and try out Pierre Pozzutto’s abs and also go and view Anna Lovelock’s abs (these put mine to shame!!!) and then expand from just abs to other sessions. It would be a shame to get a six pack and a saggy bottom, best to workout al lover x 3 per week and do abs specifically maybe x3 per week.

is it ok if u do this more then once a day? is that putting to much stress on the abs?

  20. 1691690 says:

    i’m currently cycling 30 mins 6 times a week

  21. 1691690 says:

im on a diet at the moment, but i dont really want to have a muscluar abs [im a female], so by doing this excercise, along with my diet, would i loss the fat, but at the same time build muscle…

should i do this excerise later, when i loss more weigh, to prevent the muscle building

  22. ThinQFitness says:

The right way to lose a belly is through diet and exercise. Abs exercise without the diet change won’t give you those honed abs, and if you stop exercise the muscle mass and tone you have built does change. Remember muscle and fat are two different things, you have to work on both.

How quickly this happens depends on the person.

Stick at it and as we say in the video, just 10 minutes a day.

if i do this twice a week and then couple of weeks later i didnt do this excerise… would it turn back to belly???

Ponder this: the Atkins / Low-carb craze started over 10 years ago. All the advice I see in online fitness forums acknowledges the value of high-protien low-carb eating. “Low-carb” is becoming a ubiquitous phrase on food packaging. Yet the obesity epidemic continues unchecked. To me this indicates that the people who choose foods based on macronutrients are choosing low-carb, but that most people are not involving macronutrients in their food decisions.
