I just did that twice….in a row….Hard the first time, somehow easier the second though. The low crawl and buddy drag kills my back.

@CeruleanTexasSkies Thank You. I was a Paratrooper in the 82 Airborne. We did train like this on a regular basis. No one has ever called the Airborne pussies.

@Joeysic66 That guy also did 20 pull-ups yesterday and went 48 hours without sleep 2 days prior and got his first meal in that 48 hour period that morning.

CFT’s are great, but can suck too, it’s almost 3 minutes of sheer cardiac pumping and you feel like your going to explode afterwards. Go Marine Corps. Semper Fi.

  14. MSguardsmen says:

    @cowlarva
portion this is move under fire, theres also a 880 yard run, and the ammo lift.

  15. cowlarva says:

Is this the whole test, or is it just a fraction of CFT?

  16. Joeysic66 says:

That nigger is out of shape as hell.

  17. marinecqb says:

It’s nothing like a DI yelling faster constantly… O I can smell the sweat from here.

  18. lavance12 says:

Hahaaaaaas Sargent Pider. I had him as my DI in a mini bootcamp for 1 week with my rotc good times gooood times

  19. KevinWebb22 says:

I remember the first time I watched this on YouTube (before I became a Marine). I though it looked easy and I was laughing at the ones struggling.

Trust me. The Marine Corps doesn’t have easy fitness tests. You rarely find a Marine that runs a perfect 300 PFT. The CFT is a little easier, but still tough as nails and it will rip your lungs to pieces and your legs will feel like they were dipped in gasoline and lit on fire.

@DevinChief it def. is, My friend went through that as a practice round to see how he was (condition wise) he said the exact same thing as you did. I will hopefully will be going to boot camp in a little less then a year after I go through MEPS.

  24. murphyisba says:

  25. killian920 says:

the CFT will wear u out like crazy i did it yesterday with my recruiters the ammo can r 30 pounds each

  26. Lizzy says:

You should know then, without your unit you would not be where you are. If it were not for your drill instructor yelling in your face, you would not be where you are. Yes everyone NEEDS help sometimes. It may be someone to hold you when you cry, and it may be a DI shoving a boot up your ass. You would not have done pushup 801 without the DI’s HELP pushing you beyond your percieved limits.
