What effects do diet coke have on the human body?

Hello. I have been drinking diet coke since I was young. I drink 1-6 cups of it a day every day/other day, I have been trying to loose weight recently and lost about 30 lbs. Does diet coke keep the weight on? What effects does it have on the body? HELP PLEASE?

google ASPARTAME and its effects on the body – avoid this chemical

either watch on youtube or buy a copy of SWEET MISERY from ebay for about $5 and you hopefully will never want to touch this stuff again

research DR RUSSELL BLAYLOCK and EXCITO-TOXINS

What we desperately need is a Total ban on Aluminium in our diet – Aspartame and Fluoride. . Aspartame is a deadly poison which passes off as an ‘artificial sweetener’ – actually it causes the body to increase weight faster than sugar does. I also dulls the brain and is one of the main causes (if not ‘THE’ main cause) of Alzheimer’s. Fluoride is another poisonous waste product of the Aluminium trade that does more harm than good. Although some aluminium is passed out of the human body, some is retained in various organs.

Thanks for the Diet Coke info…it's so funny that you explained the feeling of hunger. I have been on a Diet Coke binge the last few days, the more stress I'm under the more I drink soda. I have been eating everything in sight, I just can't seem to get full (not good). The more I eat, the worse I feel and then I drink a Diet Coke to feel better. Vicious cycle indeed.

I have to go now, the WATER in the fridge is calling my name.

Hi, Kathy — I read your comment to Julie at A Lemon Tree Life blog re: writing a post on Diet Coke. You would definitely get a few chuckles out of looking at the video she made on September 24, 2009 (listed under “fun stuff” in her post archives of how she was saying “goodbye” to Diet Coke. Of course, at some point, she said “hello” to Diet Coke after that, but she's really trying. And good luck to you, too, on “Losing It.” It looks like you're off to a great start this week. — Judy in TX
