    Protein is essential, but protein needs to be consumed after the workout, as this is when the muscles are being repaired and are growing.

    It depends. Are you training? or in between fights. I am a runner and I have been on Dr Atkins diet for almost 6 years. I have about 6 books on his methods. I suggest that read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution and also get some of his recipes. Below is a link for more info.

    I have the dvd and its awesome. I've done it only a few times and I'm already seeing a difference. At first I freaked out because I thought I was getting bigger, but if you do the dvd every other day, you build up nice lean muscles and then the fat starts to come off. The shape of my thighs and the sides of the abs (I had super hot “love handles” before) changed completely without really eating any less than I already did.
