What’s the difference between Diet Cherry Coke and Cherry Coke Zero?

They are both good, both diet and taste about the same. Just not sure which is the better choice.

Both are low calorie cherry colas. Coke Zero is sweetened with Splenda, and Diet Cherry Coke with NutraSweet (asparatime).

The taste. With Diet Cherry Coke you are sacrificing the flavor of regular Cherry Coke to get zero calories. But then Coke decided they wanted to create a zero-calorie Cherry Coke that attempted to maintain the taste of the original.

the difference is just the sugar tasting flavor. I would definitely prefer Cherry Coke Zero because the diet one doesn’t taste as great!!!!!!!

  4. SchoolGirl says:

Well, since regular Cherry Coke contains sugar, Zero is sweetened with Splenda, made from the sugar of alcohol. Diet Cherry Coke is sweetened with aspartame, which is derived from formaldehyde; a chemical which the ancient Egyptians used to preserve dead bodies with.

    I love my coke ^_^

Coke Zero is the Coca-Cola companies equivalent of Pepsi Max.

Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Max are not the same
Diet Coke and Coke Zero are not the same

Coke Zero contains a lot less energy than regular coke. Zero contains 1.5kj of energy, while normal coke (The closest I drink is Cherry coke) has 191kj of energy.

Normal coke also has 45 calories, while Coke Zero has 0.5 calories.

Coke zero has 0g of every nutrient (Protein, Carbs, fat, fibre and sodium).

All-in-all, Coke Zero and Pepsi max are the same, but Coke Zero is pulling Pepsi Max off the shop shelves as they are more loyal to the Coca-Cola company.

    I hope this helps ^_^

Diet Coke is swill. I tried and kind of liked Diet Coke with Splenda (which isn't available in my local stores in anything other than cans), but it was emphatically pushed aside when I tried Coke Zero. Diet Pepsi is acceptable when Coke Zero isn't available.

Also good: Diet Cherry 7UP; Diet Dr. Pepper; and (when I don't want carbonated drinks) Crystal Light.
